This is my reading.  We read a text with Mrs Howard and then we used different strategies from our Reading Cafe document.  I thought answering the questions was easy because as a group we did lots of talking first.
Next time I could try and answer the questions without talking about the answers first.

I think I should of written more on the map to make it more interesting.  The most challenging thing was to think of what Reasons to write.  I am most proud of reason 2.

My Math Evidence

W.A.L.T use our knowledge of P.V to subtract.
I wish we could of made this work a bit more harder because it was a bit to easy for me to do.  What we did was we broke up the numbers to get the it correct.  So it was take the 1000 and put it on the side then do the 100 then the 10 and then the 1 then you put it all together from there.  I was confused at fist because I did not know what to do with the 1000.  The best part of this was to do them all.

Anzac Day Presentation

We read lots of books and articles about war.  We listened to someone who was in the war.

We wanted to share the information and new information that we have learned from our readings and our findings with our peers.

Today I leaned all about Anzac Day.  To understand more about it we did some work to show  one bit of this day.  Where were doing this because it was close to that day.  The best bit was we got to choose how we display it.  The most challenging bit was to think of what topic to  write about. We  wish I did more information about my topic.I am most proud that I finished it in time to show it.

W.A.L.T write a description of the character.
 Today I  learnt how to do a character profile.  The most challenging thing was to draw the picture.
I am  proud of what I wrote about Rose because I thought that she was the best  character in the story.   I know now that I can write more about the  character.

we did it as a post card.

 It was easy because you got to chose what part of your Holiday you wanted to write about.

I found this work fun to do and easy to think of the book I wanted.

It was hard at the same time.  

Next I want to put more info. It was hard to think of what the author want me think about. I need to look at the success criteria next time.

Bio Poem

IAML write a bio poem.

I know I will be successful when I can
- write adjectives that describe me
- write about my feelings
- write about my loves and fears.

It was fun to write a bio poem.  I found it a bit tricky to write adjectives about myself.  Next time I should use a dictionary to help me with adjectives.
