I wish we could of made this work a bit more harder because it was a bit to easy for me to do. What we did was we broke up the numbers to get the it correct. So it was take the 1000 and put it on the side then do the 100 then the 10 and then the 1 then you put it all together from there. I was confused at fist because I did not know what to do with the 1000. The best part of this was to do them all.

Elizabeth, the maths problem says 3984 - 677. If you look at your solution you have changed it to read 3987 - 674.
You have told me that you take 600 from 900 = 300, then 80 - 70 = 10 then 7 - 4 = 3.
Your answer should read:
900 - 600 = 300
84 - 77 = 7
So the answer should be
3306.
Can you please check your answer.
